I see these posts and videos around all the time and decided to give it a try. Seeing what’s inside someone’s daily makeup bag is exciting, and it also helps when looking for new products to try. If someone is using a product daily, you know it’s worth checking out.
Can we start off by admiring my adorable Cinderella makeup bag? I love it. It’s one of my favorite makeup bags, and I’ve been pretty committed to it for the last two years. Sadly, I don’t believe it’s available anymore as it was part of a promotion for the live action film. I know there are plenty of other Disney makeup bags out there, though, and Etsy definitely has some pretty gorgeous ones. I’m eyeing one right now.
Baremineral’s Mineral Veil Limited Edition Deluxe size – Giant container of powder that lasts up to 6 months. Must I say more? But really, this is one of my favorite powders. Doesn’t look chalky on the skin, sets makeup beautifully, doesn’t dry the skin out. It’s all over the perfect powder.
NARS Creamy Concealer in Vanilla – I’m a bit of a makeup minimalist. I don’t like wearing a full face of foundation or anything like that, so I tend to stick with a bit of concealer where I need it, blend it in with a damp sponge and boom. Done. This is a great concealer for just that, dries down wonderfully and doesn’t smudge off through the day, plus matches my skin tone perfectly. Great for people who want a simple routine to rely on.
Tarte Tartelette Palette and Too Faced Bon Bon Palette – I go back and forth between these all the time. Sometimes I go for a more natural look; sometimes I spice it up with a glittery lid color. Both work wonderfully and have been my go-tos for the last year.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Demolition – This is a staple in my makeup bag, a simple brown for trustworthy lining. It stays all day, doesn’t flake or smudge or budge, perfect all year round. I am a firm believer that you always need a black brush tip liner and a brown pencil. They are the staples of every bag (Even though I currently don’t have a felt tip in my bag. Oops!)
L’oreal Telescopic Mascara in Brown – I’ve been loving this mascara! I used to swear by black mascara, but I’ve fallen in love with the black/brown shade so much more. I feel like it looks more natural and softens the eyes, doesn’t make them look harsh and clumpy like black tends to do. This mascara combs through the lashes and leaves them looking elegant and defined. Love it!
EOS Lipbalm in Vanilla: I’m boring, I know. It’s winter so I tend to wear more lip balms than colors. I’m a girl who swears by nude pinks, though, so anything with a pinky undertone you know I’ll wear.
And that is what’s inside my makeup bag. Simple, easy, and quick, perfect for my lazy girl self. Half the time I’m a hermit in my room working on blog posts and writing stories, so barefaced is the normal go to. I hope you enjoyed having a little look in my bag. Let me know if you like this kind of post and I might do one for every season.
See ya next time!
