Hello again, lovely people of the internet. It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything, which is a shame, but I’ve been absent for good reason. I’m in the process of writing my first YA fantasy story and was trying to update my site as you can see so I was a bit MIA. However, I’m back with my November favorites to finish off the year strong and welcome in the holiday season.
Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Formula – I sadly only had a travel size of this face wash, but it was the best thing I used for my skin at the start of the month. I was having some bad breakouts and this helped me to clean my skin of the dirt and oil that was causing it so much grief. Clinique’s facial soaps have always been a favorite of mine, they have a dry, mild, and oily formula so you can pick the one that best pertains to your skin needs. All formulas are gentle on the skin, won’t strip it, and leaves you feeling hydrated and well cleansed.
Origins Frothy Face Wash – This was another saving grace this month. Will all the stress I was under, the breakouts started to come back with vengeance. The frothy face wash has been just what my skin needed. It’s deep cleansing, but moisturizing and I think it makes a great addition for a nighttime routine to get all the gunk off your face. I highly recommend it, especially for the holiday season when we’re all getting glam-ed up for parties.
NARS Creamy Concealer in Vanilla – I can’t believe it took me so long to give this guy a try. I’ve seen other bloggers rave about this being their holy grail concealer and now I know why. It’s creamy, but sets in place and doesn’t dry you out. It looks perfectly natural on your skin and gives you a great your-skin-but-better glow. This is definitely my winter concealer. I highly recommend it if you haven’t given it a try – you’ll fall in love.
Ginger Peach Tea from The Republic of Tea – Writing a book can get exhausting, and the best way to stay focused is tea. I need tea for my writing sessions and have pretty much been living off this Ginger Peach blend. The Republic of Tea makes some of my favorite blends of tea and this one is no exception. It’s light, not too fruity, and gives you the energy you need to focus throughout the day. If you’re tired of Earl Grey and English Breakfast teas, then you should give this a try. It makes a great gift for the tea lover in your family, too.
Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller – I haven’t been able to read much this past month, but I hope to change that in December. I spent most of November nursing this little gem and I am so glad. Miller’s writing is absolutely gorgeous and her characters have officially become my fictional children. Not only is the cover stunning, but the story is amazing. Go check out my review here.
It’s so good to be back at this blogging thing, guys. Thank you for sticking with me for my mini-hiatus. And I hope you will stick around to see what’s to come.
What have you been loving this month?
