Can Confidence Really Come From a Cream?

I have suffered from acne for as long as I can remember. I had a really nice period between eighth and ninth grade where my skin was completely flawless, and then it just went downhill from there. I’ve tried acne creams, gels, pills, face washes, scrubs, pore strips, you name it, I’ve probably tried it. They’ve helped, for a while, but with all of them, my skin is always left dry, irritated, and stupidly sensitive. I’ve been on the never-ending search for a moisturizer that wasn’t going to make my face greasy but was going to do the job I needed it to.

Then It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream came into my life. I received a small sample when I bought a couple of their products (love the brand), and when I tried it – instant relief! I was shocked that just a little bit of the thick cream would spread all over my face and neck and instantly fix all the damage that no amount of moisturizers, masks, or serums had been able to fix. It was like dipping my face in a Fountain of Youth, and all the damage done by the acne medicines was gone. Its left my skin plump, hydrated and healed, I couldn’t believe it. I’ve just recently bought the full size of the cream and I’ve never been happier to drop $48 bucks.

Yeah, it’s sadly a cringe in the wallet. However, a lot of those beauty gurus on Youtube have a point, you splurge for what works and what’s good. I wasn’t exaggerating when I said it instantly fixed my sensitivity problems, and after spending (and returning) so many products to the store, I’m just grateful to find something that works.

The cream is thick feeling when you first scoop it from the tub, but you only need a little and its supercooling on the skin. So, if you have puffy, redness in the morning this is perfect to help soothe away the heat. It sinks right into the skin and doesn’t leave you oily and dehydrated, but supple, plump, and youthful. If you have oily skin, it can make you a little shiny, but that’s such an easy fix with a little bit of powder over your face. Or, if you wear makeup the foundation will handle the extra oils just fine, but at least it doesn’t leave you greasy like many other thick creams can. Furthermore, it doesn’t even feel thick on the skin. It’s a heavy cream, but once it’s blended out its light as a feather. Your skin absorbs all the wonderful ingredients like Coconut oil, Shea butter, and even Tea Tree, which if you have acne prone skin will help in naturally combat breakouts without drying your skin.

All in all, I think It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream is a wonderful splurge worth the $48 price point.
